Whenever we see a person very majestic and excellent we used to say that he is like a tiger. Even the most famous cricket player Sourav Ganguly is referred as “Bengal Tiger”.
But the most sympathetic fact is that the real tiger species is slowly becoming extinct. Tiger is the national animal of India. There were abundant tiger reserves in India. But many of them have been hunted down in the recent years by hunters and poachers for skin, teeth etc. The government is looking after this issue with serious concern. They have started “Project Tiger” which aims at conserving the species by rehabilitating the tiger reserves and prevent them being hunted down.
